Profile A8 80x40 light is an aluminium construction profile of the A8 series — commonly sold as “slot 8” profile. Grid 40 mm, core thread M8. The A8 series is our standard range with the widest choice of T-slot nuts, connectors and accessories — from the compact 40 × 16 to the strong 160 × 80.
The “light” version is weight-optimised — a good choice when the construction does not need the full stiffness of the standard version.
We cut the profile to any length between 100 and 6,000 mm with 0.1 mm accuracy — or deliver full 3 m or 6 m bars. Mitre cuts, holes and threads can be requested directly in the profile configurator.

Which T-slot nuts and connectors fit Profile A8 80x40 light?+
All T-slot nuts, connectors and add-on parts of the A8 series (slot 8). Parts from the other series do not fit — even if the profiles look similar.
Can I have the profile cut to size?+
Yes. We cut any length between 100 and 6,000 mm with 0.1 mm accuracy. Full 3 m or 6 m bars are also available. Mitre cuts, holes and threads can be requested via the profile configurator.
