Aluminium profiles slot 8
Slot 8 is the most widely used series in machine and fixture construction — listed by us as the A8 series. 40 mm grid, M8 core thread and the largest choice of T-slot nuts, connectors and accessories.
We cut all profiles to your dimensions. For constructions where weight matters, many cross-sections are also available in a “light” version.

Aluminium profile 40x40 slot 8 — the classic
The 40 × 40 profile is the standard for frames, racks and workstations: stiff enough for most structures and easy to extend with slots on all four sides. For higher loads or long free spans, choose 80 × 40, 80 × 80 or the large cross-sections up to 160 × 80.

Frequently asked questions
Which T-slot nuts fit aluminium profiles with slot 8?+
All T-slot nuts of the A8 series — available from us in M4, M5, M6 and M8, with web, heavy-duty or stainless. Parts of the A5 and A6 series do not fit.
When should I use the light version?+
The “light” version is weight-optimised. It is suitable when the construction does not need the full stiffness of the standard version — for example for panelling, frames with short spans or mobile structures.
In which lengths can I get the profiles?+
We cut any length between 100 and 6,000 mm with 0.1 mm accuracy. Alternatively, we deliver full 3 m or 6 m bars. Mitre cuts, holes and threads can be requested via the profile configurator.
How much do the aluminium profiles cost?+
Add the profiles you need to the cart with cut length and quantity, then send the request. You will receive a non-binding quotation with prices for exactly your lengths.
