The A6 series — usually sold as “slot 6” — is the compact 30 mm version with M6 core thread. It is the right choice when 40 mm profiles would be oversized: for lighter frames, housings, fixtures and maker projects.

Aluminium profile 30x30 slot 6
The 30 × 30 profile is the workhorse of the series: compact, light and still stable enough for frames, covers and smaller racks. The light version saves additional weight.
Good to know
A6 and A8 look similar but are not interchangeable: T-slot nuts and connectors must always match the A6 series. Feel free to contact us about suitable accessories for slot 6.
Frequently asked questions
Do slot 8 T-slot nuts fit profiles with slot 6?+
No. A6 has its own T-slot nuts and connectors with M6 thread. Even though the profiles look similar, the series are not compatible.
In which lengths can I get the profiles?+
We cut any length between 100 and 6,000 mm with 0.1 mm accuracy. Alternatively, we deliver full 3 m or 6 m bars. Mitre cuts, holes and threads can be requested via the profile configurator.
How much do the aluminium profiles cost?+
